O.K. so is anyone here a nerd like me, when I say this I mean does anyone like chess. I know I sound like a super nerd at the moment but its actually pretty fun. Its strategical, tactical, makes you think on your feet, and its also REALLY good practice for Yu-Gi-Oh. You can play conservatively or offensively just like in Yu-Gi-Oh. I wouldn't be half the duelist I am today without Chess. So please discuss...

The only "nerd" game i ever play is connect four and battle ship and monopoly kinda xD but i play those once in a while

This is probably expected, coming from me, but I enjoy a good game of chess every now and then myself. It's one of those rare games were luck isn't involved, the only variable is your opponent. That, and they take a while, unlike a lot of other games I play.

Chess Is one of the better games mankind has created. No Luck involed But I have learned one flaw in chess. White is supposed to win. If white has no mistakes just because of the advantage of goin first white should always win. but thats just how complicated the game is. I do admit though Im not a nerd. Nerds are weird and uncool. G33ks are awesome and cool at the same time so *BLEH*

Chess is the best thing out there. Just really. The guy who made it is a genius, and I probably play it too much. Point is I don't really think people who play chess are nerds. Maybe geeks, but nerds are by definition people who study a lot and are always looking forward to a day of studying at school. I'm not sure such people exist, but that's how it's supposed to be.

Wow, I'm glad to see some people like chess as much as I do. I like it because it's just fun to get your opponent in situations they can only get in through chess
